Be gladly welcomed by the tour driver guide upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport and immediately go through the highlights of the safari. The guide driver will take you for an optional tour in Entebbe where you will visit the Uganda Wildlife education Centre and which is formally known as the zoo. Some different wild animals and birds are held captive. Among other wildlife that will be spotted are the rare shoebill stork, peacock, giraffes, lions, chimpanzees, buffalo, elephants, hippos, ostriches, olive baboons, warthogs, leopards, tigers and much more. Later on, head to the hotel booked in either Kampala or Entebbe.

Begin the day with a fruitful breakfast and then hit the road to Murchison falls National Park which is the largest conservation area in Uganda with 4 of the big 5 animals. This park is bisected into two by the river Nile the longest river in the world and the narrowest point forms the Murchison falls the strongest waterfall in the world. While on the way, you will have stopovers such as one at the roadside market where you buy fruits such as pineapples, yellow bananas, passion fruits and much more. Another stopover will be at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will be able to trek the Rhinos in their natural environment. Trekking lasts for 2 hours and then proceeds with the journey to your accommodation site with enroute lunch.

Begin the day with a delicious breakfast and then take morning game drives in the northern part of the park which is a savannah. This will reward you with the best experience since you will spot different wild animals such as buffalos, lions, leopards, buffalos, hippos, warthogs, giraffes, antelopes and much more. Have a break in the bush which will be accompanied by fruit enjoyment at the hippo pool. Proceed with a game with a help of the park ranger guide and this will take you back lodge where you will have a lunch break.

Immediately take a boat cruise on the Albert Nile part of River Nile and you will enjoy schools of hippos, crocodiles, bird species like the kingfishers, fish eagles, pelicans and animals like the elephants will be quenching their thirst on the river banks. Enjoy the view of the falls from the bottom and then hike to the top which is another exciting moment. Guess what!! The top of the falls is rewarding where you have a view of the rainbow formed when water squeezes itself into a small tunnel hence forming a thunderous sound. Retreat to the lodge for your dinner after a great day of memories.

Begin the day with breakfast and then penetrate the western part of Kibale National park an amazing and exciting journey where you will be passing through the forest and tea estates. Kibale National Park is famous since it ranks as the best place to trek chimpanzees in Uganda and East Africa at large. The park is home to 13 primates both diurnals and nocturnal. You will encounter have lunch and then visit the Tea estates at the edge of Kibale forest where you will meet tea harvesters carrying their baskets, Learn, touch, smell and taste to make it more experiential. All this will be carried out by a local guide from Isunga cultural community adventures an environmental conservation initiative at the edge of the forest. Check in the booked lodge and mark the end of the day.

Head to the park offices for briefing and this will take place in the Kanyanchu visitor’s center. Very important exercise since it introduces you to the real life and behaviors of the chimpanzees and other inhabitants of the forest. Also, the rules and regulations won’t be missed since they will be guiding principles in the forest to enable you to trek smoothly. And the guidelines among others include; don’t feed animals, always keep a distance, don’t mimic and much more.

Start the search under the guidance of a well-armed park guide ranger and the search won’t take so long since he/she will be communicating with researchers in the forest using a radio call. Upon locating a troop or group of chimpanzees, you will spend an hour while in their presence capturing moments and then head back to the lodge. Remember that you will be in a position to spot different wildlife including birds and many more.

Take a walk after lunch with a local guide from Isunga cultural community adventures/Association where you will discover different crater lakes at the edge of Kibale National park and these e Nyabikere, Lake Nyinabulitwa and Lake Nyamirima. The hike to the top of the world an aerial view of these lakes in a straight line. You can opt to take a will lead you to the twin lakes. Retreat to the lodge

Head to the true birders’ haven which is Semlik National Park located in the Rwenzori mountain ranges and also Semliki River which neighbors DR Congo. Our safari drive to this park is amazing since you will have a view of the Rift Valley escarpment hence a great point for photography. Pass at one of the roadside markets or small town where you will buy any foodstuff that you will boil while in these springs.

Arrive at the park offices and immediately attend a briefing where you will encounter e dos and don’ts to follow while on this great nature walk. You will begin the walk through the forest as you spot primates jumping from one tree to another like the red-tailed monkey, black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons and much more others. The guide park ranger will be in a position to tell you about the traditional formation of these hot springs with the geographical part. Boil your food in the salt pans such as eggs, Irish and much more.

Head back to Fort Portal and have lunch at Amabere Ga’Nyinamwiru caves restaurant and then visit the Amabere caves with traditional stories attached to their formation (cultural beliefs) which are initially the stalagmites and stalactites. Have a great time and then head back to your accommodation site.

Leave Kibale National Park or Fort Portal and transfer to the Rwenzori mountains a heritage National park in Uganda where the highest point of this beautiful country can be located. Enjoy the glaciers while on the way since the road is located at the edge of the Rwenzori mountain ranges. Arrive at the park office for a briefing immediately the hike will begin with your packed lunch. You will encounter different primates such as the colobus monkeys, olive baboons and many more. The three-horned chameleon and the Bakonzo cultural experience won’t be missed since these people are known as people of the mountains. Head to Kasese or Queen Elizabeth National Park for your night.

Begin the beautiful day with breakfast and then head to the park premises for a game drive together with your packed lunch. You will encounter different wildlife such as lions, spotted hyenas, elephants, jackals and many more. The game drive will last for 2 hours and this will create everlasting memories since you will have great moments like sunrise time.

Take a boat cruise for another today’s dose of the wildlife where you will spot wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, migratory birds and much more. This will last for 2 hours but of great reward and memory hence rewarding and exciting experience. The Kazinga channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward.

Have another dose of game drive in the savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will have a spot of different wildlife. You will proceed to Bwindi National Park renowned for hosting a big number of mountain gorillas a suitable place near the Virunga massif. Pass through the Ishasha sector where you will encounter the rare tree climbing lions in their resting in tree branches. You can encounter other residents of this sector such as the antelopes, elephants and many more others. Arrive in Bwindi and check in at the accommodation site and this will be the end of the day.

Head to the park offices for a briefing and be told about the residents of this forest including the endangered mountain gorillas. Guidelines to follow while in the forest will be told and this will be don’t use flashlight Cameras, don’t feed wild animals, don’t eat in front of gorillas and much more. You will immediately start the experience and this will involve hiking, and walking long distances since you cannot predict the location of the gorilla family trekked.

Spend an hour in their presence as you capture great moments on your safari to the pearl of Africa. Remember that the whole experience can last for 2 to 8 hours and this will be another great day of adventure. The rest of the remaking hours after trekking will be created as a leisure time

Take a community tour to the Batwa pygmies who are believed to be the early settlers of the Bwindi forest hence called people of the forest. They were later on evicted and resettled at the edge of the forest due to conservation practices. They will offer you story telling by the elders, cultural internment through music, dance and drama and many more. You will then head to the Mgahinga national park the smallest Conservation area in Uganda located in the Virunga mountains hence great biodiversity including the rare mountain gorillas and the Golden monkeys. Head straight to the lodge for your dinner and end the day.

The briefing will be conducted about Golden monkey trekking and this will be in the mornings after breakfast. This time, you will be encouraged to use flashlight cameras since these primates enjoy the light hence tending to come closer. Like the previous trekking experiences, you will spend an hour in their presence and they will be jumping from one bamboo tree to another. The overall experience, therefore, can last for 2 to 5 hours and then head back to the lodge for your lunch break.

Take an afternoon Batwa heritage trail where you will head to the forest with the guidance of the Tea guide and the park ranger ready tools to explain the footsteps of their life while in this forest. Before they were evicted, Batwa depend on the forest through hunting and fruit gathering. This shows you that they lived together with the gorilla. Caves will be discovered on the methods of hunting will be demonstrated while in the forest. Head back to the lodge to end your today’s activities.

Head to one of the large water bodies in the pearl of Africa and the second deepest lake in Africa which is Lake Bunyonyi. This is an amazing lake where you will encounter different birds, the beautiful landscape covered with tremendous hills, over 20 islands in the lake and many more others. The road trip is amazing since you will pass through the Kisoro highlands, valleys and escarpments and much more. Arrive at the resort and have leisure time in the evening.

Have a great moment while on this beautiful lake where you will take part in different activities such as a boat cruise and then hiking to one of the surrounding hills to have an aerial view of the forest. The boat cruise will take you to visit the different islands such as the punishment island, Bwana Island, Leprosy Island and much more which are having great traditional history.

Head to the smallest savanna national park in Uganda known to host the impala and zebras and that is Lake Mburo, National Park. Other wild animals can be spotted while in this park such as tipi, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs and much more. Lunch will be served at the Igongo cultural centre with a great museum displaying the Ankole-Kigezi region art pieces. The restaurant offers local and traditional dishes which are very tasty.

Begin the day with a morning game drive where you will encounter different wildlife in form of birds and animals. This will take you to spot the warthogs, impala, topis, buffalos, eland, zebras and much more. You will encounter a boat cruise in the afternoon on Lake Mburo where you will enjoy both water-loving animals and birds such as the crocodiles, hippos, fish eagles and much more.

Head back to Kampala a journey taking about 3 hours and a stopover will be at the Uganda equator. This is the point where you will enjoy great photography and you will be able to buy some souvenirs such as baskets, wood carvings, beads, hats and many more. Also, purchase some snacks or have hot lunch at this point after an experiment to show the north and south poles. Proceed to Kampala and this will be the end of the day.

Head to Jinja known as the most adventurous town in East Africa and it’s where the source of river Nile the longest river is located. You will have a stopover in Mabira forest and this will offer you different optional activities like zip lining, nature walks, bird watching and monkey trekking. After 2 hours in the forest, you will proceed to Jinja and have lunch. Immediately take a boat cruise to the source of the Nile River, a point where the longest river leaves Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean sea. Check in the accommodation in Jinja and this will be the end of the day

Take an optional activity such as quad biking, bungee jumping, or white water rafting and after proceed to Mbale on this day to trek Sipi falls a journey that will last for almost 5 hours but is very rewarding. Arrive and take an evening shower, relax, get entertained by the Bamasaba cultural troop and rest for the night.

Take a Sipi falls hiking experience with the guidance of the local guide, and pass through the coffee plantations which is Arabic coffee that is grown on the slopes of mountain Elgon. The hike involves a view of three different falls at different levels. There is an option of abseiling if you are not short-hearted. You can also go through a coffee experience where the locals process coffee beans to get powder using local tools.

Leave Mbale in the morning and head back to the capital city of Uganda. On arriving, you will be dropped off at the Entebbe International Airport and this will mark the end of the 21 Days Uganda Gorillas, Chimps & Wildlife all-round safari.
