Day 1: Akagera NP for the big game safari

After breakfast in a hotel in Kigali, you will leave for city tour taking 2 hours. The Kigali city tour includes visiting Kigali genocide center, local markets especially Kirimonko market, plus other historical centre.

Later, you will drive 2-3 hours to eastern Rwanda to visit Akagera National Park, a 1122sq.kms savanna park and a home to all the big 5 game members; elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards and buffaloes. Once you have arrived at Akagera, check in at the lodge and you can decide to spend the while afternoon or evening relaxing or go for a game drive.

Day 2: Game drive, Lake Ihema boat/launch cruise

Enjoy an early morning cup of tea or coffee, after leave for a guided game drive at Akagera National Park exploring the Northern side of the park.
